I am a woman

(перевод стихотворения Василия Матвеева «Я – женщина», не судите строго, это моё первый опыт)


I am a woman, that's why I'm an Actress.
One hundred roles, and all of them are mine.
I am a woman, that's why I'm an Empress,
And all of  kings are sure I am fine.

But woman's life, of course, is not so pleasant,
I am a slave, I know about pain.
I am a woman, that's why I'm a desert,
Which burns you down again and again...

I am a woman and my force is biggest.
But even if a life has intense plot,
You know...I just hide my woman’s weakness.
I am a woman. That’s why I’m a lot.

I am a woman. I’m a flash of passion.
But I must work and suffer every trice.
I’m happiness. I am a top of pleasure,
Which men can feel but cannot recognize.

I’m dangerous and you should be attentive.
A can be hot but also can be cold.
I am a woman. I am fine in twenty
But I am also fine if I am old.

I am a woman. All the ways and towns
Lead directly to me. Choose any start.
Yes, God has chosen me, and I  am proud.
But I have got a punishment from God.
