When tired and lonely, suddenly, one day,
Your memory will bring that well forgotten
Sweet night in May at “Cappuccino on the Bay”.
Black silky dress, white polka-dots and ocean
Of shady eyes and smile upon your face……
I gave my life and my complete devotion
To love and cherish, care and embrace.
Though failed myself and you, yet bursting into tears
Won’t help us much in getting back on track,
It probably will take me many years
To win your trust and possibly get back.
The time will pass, of course - inevitable process,
For crimes committed never - should I pay ?
The biggest one of a lifetime of losses
That night in May at “Cappuccino on the Bay”
