You Are Old

“You are old, Aunt Polly – the young girl said –
But you’re still very fit and slim.
Tell me your secret how to keep so fit
Or just how to begin?”

“In my youth – said Aunt Polly – to tell you the truth.
In fact, I was not very fit.
My mother advised me to marry a coach
And fortunately so I did.”

“You are old Aunt Polly – the young girl said –
But your bosom is healthy and big.
How to keep it resilient as long as you did
And enlarge it as you succeed?”

“In my youth – said Aunt Polly – to tell you the truth.
My bosom was not so cool.
My mother advised me to breast-feed my son
Till he is a teen or at school.”

“You are old Aunt Polly and you are quite wise,
But your mother is wiser indeed
Please, tell me more of her good advice
For I can follow it.”

“In my youth – said Aunt Polly – I was smart enough.
My mother said – “Don’t be so wise!”
Obesity killed her when I was ten and half
And that was her last advice.”
