When the sun comes down
and the last ray blinks
twilight fills the town
and the hobo thinks
how he smelled the grass
by his parents' house
saw the rainbow pass
and the last ray bounce
when he closed his eyes
and stretched out his arms
there were no more lies
noone could cause harm
he was young back then
and his cares were
if he'd find somewhen
one and only - her
once upon a time
days were filled with sun
now a fallen dime
is his only son
now his day begins
when the sun goes down
when the last ray blinks
now he owns the town...
