Cried the mindless crowd
Without a single doubt
In what they named true faith.

Cried relentlessly,
And even zealously,
To meet the wretched wraith.
“He has spoken!” –
And then, silently,
Very obediently
They bowed to him again.
“He has spoken!” –
Echoes dispersed
In the halls of the cursed,
When on his feet rose Kain.
