Walking Away
I used to argue all the time
For cause or just for play,
To hurt someone or prove a point…
But now I’m walking away.
I used to think that life is war,
And I am made to fray,
To battle for my chance to shine…
But now I’m walking away.
I used to feel so insecure,
So small and so astray.
My doubts and fears made me weak…
But now I’m walking away.
I used to fear loosing you!
Through cheating and betray
I fought for love, but lost my faith…
And now I’m walking away.
I used to hide my thoughts inside,
Unable to convey.
But now my rhymes show me the path
And I am walking away.
