lucid dreams

once I was a brick chimney
the smoke blackened me and warmed
fresh rains washed me, cool winds chilled me
once a red brick chimney I was

one day in the depth of ocean
I''ve been a quiet motion
of flying fishes and white whales
once in the quiet space of the ocean

then once I was a blues
dark-red guitar played me sad and slow
the old man singer cried me low stinging
once a melancholy blues I was

I was a black raven wings'' swoosh
soaring under the sun flying free rising high
playing in the purity of the air rare
a black raven wings'' whoosh I once was

all that dreamed to me or maybe not at all
I only know now I am spending my invaluable days in vain
I can''t stand this stupid stinking business anymore
for those pictures come to me again and again

how once I''ve been a melancholy stinging blues
and how I have turned into a raven wings'' swoosh
how I was lucky to learn the hidden truth of
oceans'' depth and liberty of heaven

Once I have been an old brick chimney.
[is next line to be removed?]
Now baby kiss me or just kill me
