Green Spring Winds

[Apr 5, 2010 revise]
----------------------

I try recalling one forgotten day
when life ran like full-flowing flooding river,
a happy sunny February day
when you and I first learned about Spring fever.

That old forgotten clear and cheerful day
the sky was deep and scrolls were clean and blank.
How to return that festive sparkling day
when joy was perfect and we were so young?

It's gone forever, happy sunny day.
Yet now they come, green winds of wild new Spring,
to cleave through heavy ferroconcrete dreams,
to call that day, that long forgotten day
when life was sure to give us everything
and needless were all futile memories
