Двадцать лет прошло, и в Штатах, взяв с Гагарина пример,
Стартовал челнок «Колумбия», пробивший путь наверх.
Да, всего лишь «грузовик» — но грузовик, чей путь высок.
Посмотрите, как на волю рвётся пламенный поток!

Не бывает плата скромной за великие дары:
Шаттл «Челленджер» напомнил об опасностях игры.
Наблюдая смерть героев, целый мир застыл в слезах...
Вечной славой их укроет наше Пламя в небесах!

Вашим детям, вашим внукам — суждено достичь высот.
Чтобы космос стал им другом, как рычаг и колесо,
Нам пора покинуть гнёзда и подать пример птенцам.
Пусть стремится к дальним звёздам наше пламя в небесах!
