the Blood of Jesus
the Tears of Mary
the Law of Attraction -
The sky did not change its color
Or even dropped a tear,
The trees stood not moving,
The stars – paralyzed…
His lies were just skipping
Her sleep-deprived mind
Like stones and dropping
Into the river
This was rich and heavy like
Fake Chinese silk or Saudi oil –
Immediately lost under surface of truth…
She married a banker, a trivial banker.
Or maybe a teacher, a piano teacher,
Or maybe a doctor – well, never a doctor –
It all does not matter – she married not him.
…And he did not know that lies are the shelter
For those who never looked up at the sky...
