Cerulean-coloured fins

We all revert to what we seemed
To be so long before,
And, underneath a distant sea,
There is a golden shore.

A coral castle gently drifts
On its enchanted sand,
And every parting is too brief,
A thought becomes a plan.

And you may choose what you unleash,
Since nothing's ever lost,
And you may name the plants and fish,
Since no one named them first.

So, when I dust my soul from plights
And search for it within,
I find a pair of so light,
Cerulean-coloured fins.

But if this story is a bore,
Create another myth
And swim to find the golden shore,
On which we all will meet.
