Way home

I'll paint the moon in white for you,
And moon will light your longing;
I'll draw the sky with northern lights,
Snow full of shine so folksy;
I'll lit the lantern on home's porch
And silently sit by
To warm you with the guarding light
That makes your tears run dry;
For wounded heart I'll give a balm
Of rapid virgin oceans
So wild yet calm, and when you're gone,
Cherishing hopes yet salty.
When you're away all beauty fades,
Remains of me are waiting;
'Cause in my heart the fire gleams
And guides your boat blown off the way.
I'll weave the web of stars at night
To let you see the road home
So when you stare at sky's blue deep
Remember one so lonely.
I pray the wind to change your head
For where you are to meet me
So that in stormy countless crowd you'll
Catch the glance and find key
That brings you under Tree of Life where
Minstrels play their hymns
Because the key for everlife is hidden
In love's streams.
