Never-ending Story

The Lady River flew along the alley,
Her water's clear, the depth was bright,
And nothing could disturb the valley
Of her liquid life and heart.

But the Wind, the rebel,
Blew all peace away.
Morality of the fable:
He would never stay!

Tousled thoughts he left,
Opened  bottom sand,
Changed the River's course,
Leaving marsh across.

So, don't ask me, people, now,
If there is a happy end
River won't stop somehow
Wind will never ever land.
