I am in love with my best friend,
Who consoled me for many years,
Who played “big brother” till the end…
Now it’s so hard to switch the gears.
I love him, but I’m not in love.
I have deep feelings, not the passion.
My feelings run sometimes above
My inner strength, to tell in fashion…
I am in love with my best friend,
And trust me, I have no aim
To start this “friendly loving” trend!
But I do wish he felt the same…
