Come hither, wicked swan, come out to the land,
draw near, be my guest, eat out of my hand,
don't hesitate to make this tiring stride,
I'll give you bread and wine, put all your doubts aside.

Sit on the lawn and kiss me on the cheek,
my one-winged cripple, silky and mystique,
I love your gorgeous beauty and your pride,
Cruel fever leaves me when you're by my side.

So what? - my lady answered with contempt,
eyes glistening wildly, pearly dress unkempt.
Not gonna talk such nonsense, parasite,
I'll take your wine - now vanish from my sight.

I left her smiling, holding back my tears,
behind my back the ruthless creature sneers,
a lunatic, day after day I cried,
I had to find some secret place to hide.

One day I thought - no more regrets, I'm done!
I bought a castle with a ghost, and gun,
I've learnt to spend my days in pure delight,
my garden's full of roses, black and white.

I like this poem,
Especially last verse...
I'm speechless,
You are marvelous, of course.
