Seashore tale

Frozen flowers in the ocean,
Carried by the gentle waves.
Poor sweet creatures, such seduction
From someone who's doomed to wait.
Little mermaid from the blue deep
Caught the bouquet, full of fears.
Dying flowers without man's weep
Cried with cold and lifeless tears.
Love and hate combined in one thing,
Feelings that can treat or kill.
Curse of hell or heaven's blessing
Feelings that the heart fulfill.
Beauty - sea maid took the flowers
To her underwater home,
Trying with her weak fish powers
Wake the bouquet on her own.
Poor man-wailer, you do not know
What had happened on the shore.
God, it seems so long ago,
But you still pay your sad score.
She whose words of love and vows
Were all yours once in a while
Rests now under heavy waters
In her lonely cruel exile.
On her throne of coral plants,
In the belt of galley chains,
With pure pearls in her crown,
In the silence she awaits.
Hey, songwriter, over here!
Here's a story for your ear:
Tale of him who waits so dear,
And of her who waits for him.
