Немерянное счастье Happiness without measure

Happiness Without Measure
Piterka

  * * *

Tonight, she is not alone.
For the first time, her head spins with joy,
for the first time, so pure, so fervent,
she surrenders herself completely.

For the first time—eyes meet eyes,
for the first time—without torment, just bliss.
Without hesitation, she gives herself
to hands that feel like home.

For the first time, stubborn lips
whisper softly—"I love you."
For the first time, her deep brown eyes
look ahead without sorrow.

For the first time, they shine with happiness,
for the first time—they crave more.
She does not want to think—what comes next,
her soul is too tired of pain.

She longs for one fleeting moment,
a taste of simple happiness,
even if only for an instant—
but one that cannot be measured.

And when he left, she smiled,
watching him from the stairwell.
She never hoped he would return—
for happiness is rarely forever.

With endless gratitude,
she let him go—without pain.
Remaining bound to his soul,
forever. By her own will.

Unmeasured Happiness
Literal translation by Guru.I
from the poem “Немерянное счастье” by Piterka
   * * *

She is not alone today.
For the first time, her head spins from happiness.
For the first time, so purely, so passionately,
she gives herself.

For the first time — eye to eye.
For the first time — with happiness, without pain.
Without hesitation, she gave herself
into such familiar arms.

For the first time, her stubborn lips
softly whispered — “I love you.”
For the first time, her brown eyes
looked without sorrow.

For the first time, they shine with joy.
For the first time — pain is not enough.
She doesn’t want to think — what comes next.
Her soul is tired of pain.

She wants a humble moment
to taste simple happiness.
Even if for a little while, as if —
but so deep it can’t be measured.

And when he left,
she smiled from the staircase landing.
She didn’t hope he’d return —
for happiness is rarely eternal.

With endless gratitude,
she saw him off — without pain,
remaining, soul-bound to his soul,
forever. And by her own will.

Unmeasured Joy
Poetic translation by Guru.I
for Piterka — whose love lives in the light
      * * *

She is not alone tonight.
For once, her breath forgets the fight.
For once, so purely, so complete —
She surrenders, soft and sweet.

For once — she meets his steady gaze,
And nothing in her turns away.
She lays her soul in trusted arms,
And fears no breaking, no alarms.

Her stubborn lips, that always knew
how not to say it — whisper: “You…”
And in her eyes — no grief, no ache —
Only the dawn love dares to make.

They shine. For once — with more than tears.
For once, the weight of pain clears.
She does not ask what comes or goes.
The soul is tired of sorrow’s prose.

She only wants a fragile slice
of happiness — not once, not twice —
but deep enough to blur the line
between what ends, and what is mine.

And when he left —
She smiled, not wept.
From staircase high,
her silence kept.

She didn’t beg, she didn’t plead —
She simply stayed
with soul agreed.

Bound to his — without regret.
Forevermore —
by her own yet.
