В ночи холодной звёзды дивно пели
босая девочка стояла на балконе
как ночи отраженье в хрупкой тени
прижав к лицу прозрачные ладони

И устремившись ввысь в полёте страстном
её душа в тот миг была прекрасна
Освобождённая от боли вашей властью
К ней видно бог судья не беспристрастный

Но миг  прошёл и вздрагивают плечи
захлёстнутые так невыносимо
случайностью напрасной нашей встречи
вам это не грозит
Пред вами боль бессильна

Как будто бы очнулась ото сна
чужая здесь как и всегда и всюду
И как всегда когда с собой одна
я льщу себя надеждой что забуду

Промчатся девятнадцать лет бездумно
и будет мне сколь вам сейчас
Я научусь быть правильной разумной
И знаю  - буду преданнее вас

А эту ночь и девочку босую
и пенье звёзд и даже миг полёта
биеньем сердца в память зарисую
чтоб жгло в падении
и помнилось на взлёте

In the cold night, the stars sang marvelously,
A barefoot girl stood upon the balcony.
Like a reflection of the night in fragile shadow,
She pressed transparent palms against her face.

Soaring upward in a passionate flight,
Her soul, at that moment, was pure delight.
Freed from the pain of your dominion's hold,
Perhaps to her, God is not impartial in His role.                                But the moment passed, her shoulders trembled,
Bound by unbearable waves of pain.
The chance encounter, so futile and fleeting—
It spares you,
For before you, pain is powerless.

As if waking from a dream,
She remains a stranger here, as always, everywhere.
And as always, when alone with herself,
She comforts herself with the hope of forgetting.                                Nineteen Years Will Rush By Thoughtlessly

Nineteen years will rush by thoughtlessly,
And I will be as you are now.
I will learn to be proper and reasonable,
And I know—I’ll be more loyal than you.

This night, the barefoot girl,
The song of stars, even the fleeting flight,
I’ll sketch them into memory with my heartbeat—
To burn during the fall
And be remembered in the soaring ascent.
