Equinox Song
Warm pairs of lips in juxtaposition
Wearing no more than a white pair of socks
But something was wrong with my intuition
Surely our love was supported with evidence,
It was quite the valid hypothesis
Yet here I am, alone in my residence,
And out of the window I fall… and the fall seems endless.
Baby I’m sorry, I had no intention,
To make you cry
Guess I deserve my defenestration,
So here I fly
Our love was in fact a paradox, anomaly
Since when do women date men normally?
But I must take the full reponsibility,
Of our relationships mutual instability.
Our feelings expanded like the universe,
That one couldn’t measure by triangulation,
A universe for just the two of us, ofcourse,
So how did we end up in this situation?
That the world is spinning around…
As I’m flying down to the ground…
Baby I’m sorry, I had no intention,
To make you cry
Guess I deserve my defenestration,
So here I fly
I though I had wings - it was a conjecture.
No kidding, how stupid am I?
Our love was in fact a splendid adventure,
That made us reach for the sky
Blinded by love, misguided by hope
I’ve chosen the wrong paradigm
Lucky to not have soap and a rope
And only three stories to dive.
Baby I’m sorry, I had no intention,
To make you cry
Guess I deserve my defenestration,
So here I fly
Please understand, my spirits are strong,
And I have no desire to die.
I simply forgot whats right and whats wrong,
And grasped for a new chance to fly
