Igor Poltavtseva's primary activity for the last 20 years includes a large quantity of concerts in Russia, the CIS countries, Europe, Asia, Africa, Israel, UAE, USA. Igor Poltavtsev gives solo performances, concerts with chamber orchestras and duets with outstanding singers and musicians, famous orchestras and conductors; he organizes the international festivals and competitions, participating in them as the executor and the judge; he composes, writes the scripts and produces young talented artists. At the same time Igor Poltavtsev co-operates with famous art-group «Chorus of Turetsky»: takes part in numerous tours, annual concerts in the State Kremlin Palace of Congresses in Moscow and on other stages.

The tour schedule of the artist contains more than 250 concerts a year in the different countries. The credo of the artist, life long is to present his art to everybody …

One of directions of activity of Igor Poltavtsev is the production of the young musicians and organization of the concerts and events. Having a considerable experience in this sphere, and as a creative person, understanding that each event or party is also the art – extraordinary and impressing, - Igor creates the author's art programs, writes scripts, works as producer and director, organizes shows with participation of the various artists, provides complete light, sound and technical maintenance.

The biography

Igor Poltavtsev was born on August, 28th, 1971 in the city of Krasnodar (the Russian Federation). At the age of six Igor started to learn music with his first professor Larisa Markovna Gelman.

In 1990 Igor Poltavtsev has graduated with honour from the Krasnodar Higher musical college of N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov. His professor was Elena Fedorovna Chaiko - the remarkable musician, student of the famous pianist Maria Gambarjan. During the education period Igor becomes the winner of regional competitions of young pianists: 1987 – in the city of Krasnodar, 1988 – in the city of Rostov-on-Don. In 1989 Igor Poltavtsev received the Certificate of honour «For participation in the competition» at the VIII National Competition of pianists in the city of Kislovodsk.


In 1990 Igor Poltavtsev entered Moscow State Conservatory in a class of the National Artist of the USSR, professor Evgenii Vasilievich Malinin - student of outstanding Soviet pianist G.G.Neihaus, who tought the great E.Gilels and S.Richter. Years of training in a class of the glorified musician and the talented professor have given to Igor an excellent possibility to work on perfection of his pianism. In 1995, graduated with honour from the Conservatory, the young musician successfully continued his education in postgraduate study of the Conservatory. His professors were: E. V.Malinin and the senior professor I. V.Osipova.


At the same time Igor Poltavtsev received the second higher education as «the musical and artistic manager of the highest category»; and again - with honour.
Since 1996 Igor Poltavtsev – the soloist of the Moscow Concert Philharmonic Association. Since 2000 - member of the International  A.N.Skryabin Foundation.
