Last Rain
Beyond the sunset of my day.
The deadly powder in the wine
On borrowed wings will take me away.
It’s cold within the twilight night,
The newborn dawn I may not see.
Yet strength I drew from magic light
In other worlds I’m meant to be.
Black clouds fill the sky,
Their dance before my eyes.
This beverage is my crime,
But punishment is mine.
My moments fade away,
Alone, I drink the pain
To meet the light someday —
I’m begging for last rain.
The night is carrying dreams away,
I’m falling through the roads I’ve passed,
In search of truth — the only way
To let belief and faith still last.
Forever wears the mask of time,
That counts the moments, one by one…
I slowly drain my glass of wine,
And rain will simply pour it down.
Black clouds fill the sky,
Their dance before my eyes.
This beverage is my crime,
But punishment is mine.
My moments fade away,
Alone, I drink the pain
To meet the light someday —
I’m begging for last…
…it will be wonderful rain…
