Three Local Lads From Dublin South

Three local lads from Dublin south
Were sailing through the creek
One was white haired and his mouth
Was closed for words to leak,

Another one was deaf as goat,
He shouted all day long,
And blind one was the third in boat,
All three were brave and strong.

Their journey was so fun and nice,
They sailed to sunny lake,
And silent one had some advice
That deaf one would not take

But blind one has missed the stone
And deaf one missed the shout,
And as for silent - he was thrown
And flied some roundabout.

The boat was broken, three went wet
And story close to end,
If you pretend to learn from that
Then that is life, my friend!

How fascinating! This is yet another cultural reference to "three man in a tub". I'm mesmerized by the persistence of this concept. It dates back to the 14th century nursery rhyme:

Rub-a-dub-dub,
Three men in a tub,
And who do you think they be?
The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick maker.
They all sailed out to sea.
If their boat had been stronger
My story would have been longer.

Your version is a delight!
