insomnia

When insomnia proves to be punctual,
When your night is too long to be real,
Take a paper – it’s always impartial,
It will probably judge all the evil.

If you killed you are probably killer,
If you doped you are certainly junky,
If you cry you must be very silly,
If you die it will say you are funky.

When insomnia proves to be cruel
And you think you are burning in fire,
Take a whiskey to widen and fuel
Your invented but perfect empire.

Staying honest you still become richer,
Being in love you are certainly happy,
You can talk if your tongue is now itching
With no fear to be found dull and sappy.

You are sentenced to life,
Leave this night in your mind!
Rest in peace? Live and bleed,
No one cares what you did…
