Close the window

I have to go, you'd better close the window.
I'll come at dawn, but in another life.
Yet let me see you for the very last time,
I'll whisper something just to say goodbye.

Give me a smile before I leave forever,
And I'll believe that you are not a dream.
Today I'll make a step off the horizon
And will be falling upwards with the steam.

In Lord I even nearly stopped believing,
And He about me also forgot.
For all my life a column I'd been seeing,
The one, on top of which I never got.

The life is full of all sorts of temptations,
The sunset winks and says it's not so bad.
But please forgive me, I do need to go,
Just close the window, do, and go to bed
