You are the Sun, and I'm the silver Moon.
In nightly skies I dream about your kiss.
But when you show your glory in the noon,
I fade away and disappear in bliss.
Thus you're the one who I will always miss.
You are the one who brings the shining heat,
I'm the reflection of your deadly light.
We are divided, and we never meet -
I'm vanishing before your splendid sight.
You rule the day, I humbly serve the night.
And when you throw your glance across the Earth,
Sometimes behind you see my fading face.
You laugh at me, I flush, then you go forth.
And in eternal loneliness of space
I will forever dream about your grace...
