Life

Life…do we know what it means?
A parable, show or a story?
Is it our lust for extremes
Or paranoid rush for the glory?

Life…it’s a careless day
Taking you all by surprise
Feeling the freedom of May,
Dusk is replaced by sunrise.

Life is a fear-flooded night
Filled with desire to die
Suppressed by the pain, you fight
Or give someone else rights to try.

Life is a venomous play
Performed and produced by someone
Roles change, you’re unable to stay
So never retrace what you’ve done.

Life is a superspeed train
Leaning its way to the grave
Future is not what you gain,
Present is not for the brave.

Life is your desperate hope
That the illusions come true.
It’s tiptoeing down the rope
Showing a way to go through.

Life is a gradual change
Or unexpected breakdown
You may retreat, take revenge
Or pull your head up not to drown.

Is life completely unclear
Or does it replay what you knew?
Neither and both, so don’t fear
Believe, it depends on YOU.
