Morgenstern

The cosmos, its stars, quasars, and constellations
I feel like I'm in the black hole
This sky could have seen you for ages
So gift your pale fire to the skies when they call

You may be that star in the morning
Constraining to fly far away
You'll send me a ray, I'll be crawling
Aspiring to get by your side and to stay

But I'll never be your first kind supernova
And touch ancient suspense of time
You left me alone, my magnificent rover
And now you're the flame on the rime

Forgetting your friends and your lovers
So easy to leave now and then
Wherever I look, see you there high above us
Above blood and pain, Morgenstern

(to my Lovely Husband)))
