Charming princess

One day a princess practiced charms,
She cast a spell on page;
The magic’s an unrivalled arm
And love became his cage.
Page wasn’t dare noble knight,
He wasn’t princess’ pair;
Page dreamed of princess every night,
She was so glad and fair.
The palace saw a lot of balls
Where princess danced in glare,
And jokers told unpleasant jokes,
But their king didn’t care.
The page attended all these balls
Just to behold the princess,
But when her courtiers filled the hall
His heart broke into pieces.
The princess wasn’t real witch
So, wizardry she’d tried
That caused the page heart’s sudden glitch
Was dispelled in fortnight.
But page was still in love with her,
Sage couldn’t find its reason.
Oh, careless merry noble girl,
Page’s lonely love is prison!
