The Provincial Actor

One actor from the province plays the Moor.
He does it many times, once and again.
His wife is Desdemona but no poor,
And every day he hangs her own in vain.

So life goes on and temples goes gray pretty,
His former splendid playbills gets too old.
There aren't discussions yet about the city,
'Cause there are many problems in his hold.

There is the one who make him always jelous,-
       Provincial Iago with his hankerchieves.
It's easy in the scene of that his palace,-
Behind the curtain he can't hang the thieves.

And day by day he swears to the mirrow
That he will end his enemy for good.
Though he removes make-up of his black hero,
It still remains the little stripe of soot.
