The Purple Room

There is the same purple room, the same,
       Plush' cover windows some more.
There is your photo in that gray frame
On the white wall by the door.

That crooked street as a longest tape,
       It's hid in wintery snows.
Freezing small houses at the cape
Slept there like old chilling gnomes.

       Chorus:

There is a highway with horns and bells
From longest stream of cars' boom.
They spin a dance of the Universe,
But I'm alone in my room.

There is a door like a creeking cart,
Lanter's light spots on the wall.
       Somebody twisted the floors apart
       Into the bubble gum' roll.

Clouds put a black patch along the sky,
Bridges and the archs stretched away.
I've been dissolved by the atom's fly
       Somewhere in the Milky Way...

       Chorus.
