The beauty changes a man
into a slave,
That is accepted - if a man
is brave.
When I’m with you - like a palace
is a cave,
Without - my life is worse
than an empty safe…
But - nothing permanent, and I
will tell, “Good by!
Good by, my love, the pupil
of my eye!
Tomorrow I will meet
again sunrise,
And other women will be pupils
of my eyes!
