When I met you...

When I met you I was lost and tired
I was building walls and shutting gates
I was lonely, sad and uninspired
Never thought that I could change my fate.

Never thought that you would pay attention,
To my screams in silent brown eyes
Never hoped for such an intervention
Never thought you’d see trough my disguise.

Never knew the power of emotion
Never tried to swim against the stream
You were just another crazy notion
An insane idea… hopeless dream

I was sure that feelings and desire
Will not bring my soul to its knees
But as sudden as the wild fire
You appeared and destroyed my “peace”.

You have changed my life and my existence
And I have no will to fight this change
You revived my soul in just one instance
Swept away all what was bad or strange.

Once again I find myself constructing
Only not a wall that’s made of stone
No more need for lies, pretence and acting
No more need to hide and stay alone.

Take me as I am and make me stronger
Take my thoughts, my feeling and my life
