My colors of life

My colors of life differ every day,
There are plenty of them, they follow my way
They show me my life, they show me the world,
But often I see black; no white, no yellow I can’t hold.

Their immediate change I can’t understand
Why did they appear, from what unknown land,
My colors make me shy and cry,
My colors tell me I will die,
But I can’t ask them why, can’t ask them why.

Sometimes I try to explain my point of view
But understand me only few
I tell them the truth till I’m blue in the face
But they don’t believe me and even disgrace

They don’t listen to me and stand their ground
I can’t talk to them or muffle their sound
I want to show them a cream of the crop
Of their life, but they don’t stop.
