The grey stone and the fiery river

“Hate”, “Detest”, “Abhor”
Are pushed through lips in turns,
Their mouths like cannons roar
The casual trinity of words.

Compare it to the dispute of the blind
Who fight about the color of the sea.
Drop a perpendicular on the two minds,
They’re paralleled as parallels can be.

The rivalry of mountain peaks:
The higher their heads rise
Black abyss deeper tears
Too wide for any sort of ties.

The differences of two worlds
Collide inside of one,
Where birthright of his falls,
Her principles run down.

Waves strike against the stone
Which tries to hold its pride.
The fiery river of her tone
Will melt the stony heart.

“Hate”, “Detest”, “Abhor”
Are pushed through lips in turns,
Their mouths like cannons roar
Those substitutes for love.
