Indian Summer
Verse1
Autumn
I throw the windows open,
My presence is getting lost in the yellow fields,
Small spots in the far sky
Are crying with yell of grey cranes.
Everything is getting silent,
The Sun cools down in grizzled dew-drops,
The gardens covered with haze
Grow so winterish cold.
Autumn. The time for bitter tears,
I look into your eyes – they seem to have no bottom.
The words I've heard before
Are freezing in the tenderness of autumn.
Refrain
Autumn came,
You flew away with crimson leaves,
Dew is dying on the flowers,
Your image's wasting away.
You sound cold,
Daylight turns into a vinous night,
In the sight
Is winter again.
Verse2
Autumn
I beg to present me November,
Affection of those caressing days,
Heal my summer wounds
With inspiration of your breath.
We have been lost – for once and forever.
Our unthawing snow can't come back again.
The frost burns our lips,
You release my hands and let me go away.
Autumn. The time for us,
Please stop the day and the night,
Don't let the Sun move around,
Come back and soothe my frights.
