Ten years ago everything was so easy,
I had so many dreams to make them true
Ten years ago my faith in love was not missing
Because of you
Ten years ago I was reading school books and thinking
That if I cross an ocean my happiness will be in my hands
The consequences and the reasons were not really linking
About what’s going to happen I could say just “it depends”….
Ten years ago… Should I really try to remember
Of what I felt and thought - those times already have gone?
And now I am staying alone in this unusually warm December
I am left with regrets and sad thoughts of what I wrongly have done.
