My pussy-cat sleeps calmly by my side,
a little set of fur with funny ears,
You are so warm when cold is outside
and souls are frozen by the wind of horror.
Stay like you are, my little set of fur;
I envy you. When looking at your eyes
I see the Nature’s blessing hasn’t given you
the power of the mind and feelings, simple human feelings.
Thanks God, you don’t know what they are,
my little set of fur with funny ears.
You feel me good, I think the same with me,
You know my sadness and the days of glory,
I shared my heart with you and all my stories
I gave to you, my little set of fur.
But you ungracious little thing
Just turned away – I got your hint!
