Reaching far my strong and dear land
Full of timber, meadows and creeks
Where else a man so can freely stand
No matter how far one seeks
From the centre as far as one can reach
From southern peaks to farthest northern lakes
One strides across, and unafraid to breach
His homeland’s never ending place
Life flies here free – spirited and wheeled
As river Volga graciously streams
The old will always be the honored
The young receive the future’s gleams
Our grasslands are too big to eye
Our cities, too copious to recite
Saying "Comrade" – brother we imply
Setting all iniquities aside
With this word we always feel at home
No race or colour ever is to us a matter
Everybody knows this global idiom
And with it we always are together
At this fair no one is lavish
For his deeds each one has own award
Golden letters won't ever vanish
With Stalin's universal law and code
These words' glory and immenseness
No years could ever manage to erase
A man has always the uprightness
To leisure, labour and safe face
Spring’s breezes over lands are soaring
Every day the life becomes improved
Not a soul as proud as us in shearing
No one can love as strong as we
But the eyebrows dimly we shall frown
If a rival our gates forays
As the bride’s ever shining gown
Our country’s victory will praise
