I’m not afraid to be the first
And to stay knocking on your door,
I realise how much I cost
And don’t ask more than I deserve.
But we all need a bit of love
And there are things we can’t ignore:
They seem to be sent from above
But always lead to hell below…
And I know you are such a thing
That will destroy what I have built:
My safe walls soon get small and weak…
But you still do as you think fit.
And maybe it is right and fair -
You winked at me and spread your wings…
It’s just my fault that I have failed
Unable to ignore some things..!
