Another Chance

A slow and eerie, lifeless trance
the gloom has settled, waters raised,
a mermaid spins a fishy dance,
a magic master issues praise.

A vicious wizard chants old spells,
he uses crumbling ancient bones.
I hear first of morning’s bells,
a crying child is being born.

The dreary, dark and thirsty skies,
just cannot drink this salty sea.
The desiccated sun will rise,
to bring to land new agony.

Half pink, half rosy colour spots
play on seawater and on sand.
The cruel sorcerer’s awards
destroyed my life, he won’t repent

The random chance, but why pick me?
What I have done, how I have sinned?
I will appeal, this is my plea,
but life will not give me a hint.

I only may to learn the song
that will provide me with fresh luck,
a chance new game won’t go so wrong,
if I replace the fatal bug.

Dear Origa,

Thank you for your much too kind appraisal. I do not consider this piece to be my best poem. I suggest you have a look at the Witch or may be Portrait

Nice to meet you and
Kind Regards
:o)))
