The Moonlight River
I drew apart the blinds
To look at the moonlight river
In golden haze.
A pearly rim of the moon
Drowned in the yellow aquarelle
Was shining crosswise from the sky.
Slumbering within
My memories
Were emerged from sleep-
Each lovely moment,
Each magic touch...
I opened my palms
To the moonlight.
Streaming upon me.
It covered my hair,
Wrapped the shoulders,
Slithered down the spine.
If you could touch my lips that moment
You would understand
How burning the moonlight was!
I could feel you
In the flow of light
Shining with tears
In my eyes.
When you see the moon
On your side of the Earth
You remember me,
You can feel my warmth
Through the miles of love
In the sky...
