Over-imagined
So much in love with heavy rain,
Way home along the country-lane
A couple of dreams but no umbrella
The one with sparkling eyes to drown in
Whose words taste sweeter than a lie,
My mind that's searching for reply;
The world dispersed and then went down
The water falling into pieces
Washed all the sanity away
Remember what he dared to say?
.. embarassed touch and those half-kisses?
Like mindless crime, his careless whisper
That makes half-happy, half-upset,
No will to move but to accept,
The look that cannot be resisted
Searching the ceiling for the answer,
Flashbacks, the pictures of the past
To glance, to gaze at, to make last,
Call back the senses and to fancy
