Expectations.
They always come to play
And are so rarely justified.
We are not entitled to nor do we deserve something great.
We are too scared to take risks, yet also frightened to miss the opportunities.
Say, you have lost something you really loved - then what?
It is gone forever just as if it has never happened, and is not worth of feeling sorry for.
Without a loss your life would seem too easy, undeserved.
To gain new things you have to sacrifice the old.
So what?
