The abandoned city

The unconscious wilderness,
Only web is sticked around.
Nor the signs of life beneath
Neither on the ground.

Leaving steps on dusty road
Follow down the lonely street.
Only poplar lightly bowed
Thus to greet as hosts did.

City's drowned in death and sorrow
Like in some nightmarish dream,
Like an apple that is hollow -
It is worm who only grin.

I have wished we'd be alone:
You and me in whole world.
And my wish has overflown
Universe with current bold.

(Oh, God, I pray be kind,
Have the mercy and the pity!)
And I bet that I will find
You in this abandoned city.
