In every word I found
A separate universe...
I loved the way you kissed me
With candy covered lips,
And said we were together, or so,
That part you missed...
I thought you'd stay around
At least be a good friend,
I thought you'd come about,
Remember things we said...
And even though it hurts,
It pains to even speak,
I thank you for the love ,
I thank for all you give...
And words are left unspoken,
There is no kiss goodbye,
I wish we weren't broken,
I wish we would survive...
