It makes me really sad, sometimes,
Rewinding time within my mind,
To see the things that once had been,
And know they can't be changed again.
From where I stand with clearer sight,
It seems so simple now to see,
Oh, how I wish that back in time,
That truth was clear and shown to me.
And everything that was or wasn't,
Has left a mark that won't erase,
I've wished to cleanse the past's decree...
But it’s just a fleeting dream, misplaced.
How can I heal these shattered parts?
This fear inside just won't unwind,
Yet life moves on, though I’m aware,
How sad this whole thing is. sometimes.
