agression mimicry

Алекс Штейнберг
I've been into
this survival trick
in any situation:
aggression mimicry.

you know, that moment
when a regular Jewish kid,
whose parents made him
play the violin,
spent his whole life
fearing to be himself
and running away from it,
suddenly grasped that
things could be
different.

that it's not you
who should fear;
they should be
afraid of you.
now, whenever fear
creeps in,
I flashback to that
butterfly
pretending to be an owl,
making sure no one
messes with it.
