I happened to figure in 2008
That there is a thin line between love and hate
It took me some years till I got to the gist
Of how these two opposite things coexist
There seems to be no explanation for this
How yesterday's quarrel can turn into bliss
At first we both say we feel love every minute
The very next day we regret that we’re in it
By getting ourselves into fight we can’t win
We end up alone with no light from within
As iron is easily eaten by rust
Our house will collapse if it’s built without trust
If there is no warmth from the person you’re with
Then all that you know about love is a myth
If life gets too rough when you’re both separated
Then this sort of love is for sure underrated
If living together we can’t get along
Then it would be better for us to move on
If living alone is a bit of a bother
We should find a way how to cherish each other
Yet this coexistence can still indicate:
There IS a small distance between love and hate
