Butterfly

Серафима Пронина
I can feel your touch
In every butterfly swinging by
In every ray of burning sunshine
In the winds that are dry
And in the waves of the lake where I cry
In denial
I want to drown in them
And then revive
On the shore on the other side
And you’ll stand there and smile
But for now
There are no hours and miles
No amount of verses and lines
That can compare to the endlessness of the blue in your eyes
They are mine to rely on
And I can see them in millions inches of sky
No “goodbye”
Will terrify me
While you breathe through the heat of my rhymes.
