Gone with the Wind

Серафима Пронина
I laid with you
It felt like heaven
Now I’m a walking pain
Trying to shut my brains
“—new snow on a raven’s—
Heaviness on my belly
No, not again.
All over the crime scene
Fingerprints shining
Like marks on my skinny limbs.
I wake up with the best of dreams
Try to sneeze and let go of ease
With which I agreed to this.
Under my heavy eyelids are tears
Shaped like the giant  ice cubes
To be free
To intrigue
The goodness inside of me
The powerless bliss
That comes back to hit me
With its tight embrace
And clean up my face
And bring me back from my knees
Tall like a tree
Beautiful in its memory
And magnificent as something you’ve never seen.
Call me baby cause I’m pure
As a child like I was with you
But will no longer be.
Steady.
Wild.
And relieved.
Keep this picture of me
Cause you know it will never leave
Your heart, your mind, your body.
I’ll be gone with the wind.
Get ready.
